ABSTRACT
Harmonious long-term facial rejuvenation can be achieved with the technique of composite
facelifting. The composite facelift elevates not only the skin but also the platysma,
the malar fat, and the orbicularis muscle. The development of a zygorbicular flap,
along with an arcus marginalis release, allows for a strong superior medial pull,
which results in a more youthful face and eyes.
